This role reports to the Chief Data Officer and is responsible for the delivery of key company-level data initiatives. In addition the successful candidate will coordinate daily operations of the Corporate Data Office and liaise with data management roles across the company. She or he will champion the effective use of data in company operations and its contribution to business success.

What you will do

• Project management of company-level data initiatives such as compliance, dataownership, data lifecycle management and data quality; 
• Contribute to planning, coordination and delivery of technical evaluation and competency development for data roles in cooperation with HR;
• Communicate with data managers and data team members across the company about common objectives, requirements and people development;
• Lead the execution of internal activities of the Corporate Data Office and functional activities of the data vertical;
• Perform stakeholder engagement to understand needs, pain points and priorities regarding data assets and operations;
• Promote the effective use of data with focus on the contribution of data to business results;
• Mentor data team members on project management and soft skills;

What you will need

• Experience with project management in digital companies; experience with data products is a strong advantage;
• Familiarity with data or information technology; proficiency with data science, engineering or analytics is a strong advantage;
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication, in person and in writing; technical writing skill is a plus; 
• The ideal candidate has strong empathy, works well under pressure and is self-organized;
• Educational background in IT or numerical disciplines is an advantage.
