Team Leader – Internal Communications

The Team Lead – Internal Communication plays a vital role in fostering a strong sense of belonging and alignment across MoMo by ensuring clear, engaging, and meaningful communication within the company. Reporting to the Head of Internal Communication, this role is responsible for executing internal communication initiatives that connect employees, strengthen culture, and build an engaged community where people feel valued and informed.
This role requires exceptional communication skills, a deep understanding of storytelling, and the ability to create compelling narratives that resonate across different teams and employee groups. The ideal candidate is someone who can transform company messages into inspiring, relatable content and establish a communication ecosystem that encourages open dialogue, collaboration, and shared purpose.
What you will do
  • Strengthen Internal Community & Employee Engagement
    • Build and nurture a cohesive, engaged employee community by fostering transparent, two-way communication.
    • Develop initiatives that connect employees across functions and locations, creating a sense of belonging and shared purpose.
    • Lead communication efforts for cultural and engagement programs, ensuring employees feel valued, heard, and motivated.
    • Act as an internal ambassador, gathering employee insights and amplifying their voices in leadership communication.
  • Execute and Manage Internal Communication Activities
    • Implement and maintain internal communication guidelines to ensure clarity, consistency, and engagement.
    • Develop content that inspires, informs, and unites employees, including newsletters, internal blogs, and leadership messages.
    • Oversee internal events such as town halls, recognition programs, and community-building initiatives that strengthen the MoMo culture.
    • Ensure internal messages resonate with different employee segments, adapting content for maximum impact.
  • Optimize Communication Channels & Accessibility
    • Manage internal communication platforms to ensure employees receive relevant, timely, and engaging updates.
    • Continuously refine digital and in-person communication touchpoints to enhance accessibility, inclusivity, and interactivity.
    • Introduce creative formats (videos, interactive Q&As, employee spotlights) to keep engagement levels high.
    • Facilitate transparent, two-way communication by gathering employee feedback and ensuring leadership responds meaningfully.
  • Measure and Continuously Improve Communication Effectiveness
    • Track and analyze internal communication performance through engagement metrics and employee feedback.
    • Provide recommendations for continuous improvement based on qualitative and quantitative insights.
    • Stay updated with trends in internal communication and community-building to enhance strategies and execution.
What you will need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in internal communication, employee engagement, or a similar role.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with the ability to create compelling narratives that inspire and engage employees.
  • Strong ability to foster a sense of community, belonging, and shared purpose within the company.
  • Experience managing internal communication channels and engagement tools.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with employees at all levels and translate their voices into meaningful communication strategies.
  • Ability to execute multiple projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Analytical mindset with an ability to measure and improve communication effectiveness.
