As a brand strategist, you will help drive our brand and brand extensions towards the next tipping point.
What you will do
- User and Market Insights
- Have a genuine empathy for our users and be able to harvest relevant insights and unmet needs that MoMo can leverage on
- Stay on top of user, media landscape and market trends, especially in the consumer finance sector
- Brand & Growth Strategy
- Work closely with the business team to define the brand annual jobs to be done and marketing KPIs
- Be able to understand complex business challenges and willing to crack them with tangible annual marketing plan
- Communication Strategy
- Define winning product value propositions based on strong user’s insights
- Be able to develop a concrete communication framework and turn business objectives into insightful and inspiring creative briefs. Select the right creative approaches and formats that tick
- Develop go-to-market strategy and pivot/optimise on-the-go;
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders including Business Units, Creative, Media & agency teams to make sure the strategy is well-executed.
- Follow up with creative development to ensure on time-in full delivery
- Be able to track & optimize for continuous improvement
What you will need
- Strong branding or campaign planning. Having experience working in brand marketing, brand agencies, ad agencies, in-house creative team or other positions with equivalent experience for at least 4 years (Senior Planner position) and at least 5 years (Lead position) or 3 years Brand Manager experience
- Experience in fintech, utility apps, e-commerce platforms, financial services (bank, insurance or credit) is a plus;
- Strong critical thinking is a must
- You have a track-record in performance marketing & proven communication planning experience;
- You are fast paced and flexible;
- You have a natural empathy towards people. You can read insights easily;
- You are result oriented and number driven;
- You can be both a team leader and player;
- You don’t settle for mediocre. You enjoy the thrill of doing something new and making it better;
- You are comfortable working under a volatile, yet highly collaborative environment;
- Fluent proficiency in written and spoken English.
