The Business Operations Executive is responsible for supporting day-to-day operational activities with a strong focus on merchant profile review and verification. This role requires attention to detail, analytical thinking, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure operational efficiency, compliance, and smooth business processes.

  • Review, verify, and validate merchant documentation and profiles to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal policies and applicable regulations.
  • Apply analytical thinking to identify potential issues, risks, or inconsistencies during the merchant review process, and proactively raise findings or improvement suggestions.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (e.g. Sales, Risk, Compliance, Finance, Product) to ensure seamless and efficient operational workflows.
  • Prepare and maintain operational reports on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis, including summaries of daily operational tasks and performance metrics.
  • Track and follow up on operational issues, ensuring timely resolution and proper documentation.
  • Perform other operational tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the direct line manager.

  • Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Marketing, or other related disciplines.
  • Experience: 
    • Basic knowledge of payment operations and digital payment services is required.
    • Prior experience working in banks, e-wallets, fintech companies, or payment service providers is preferred.
    • Experience in merchant onboarding, merchant review, operations, risk, or compliance-related roles is an advantage.
  • Skills & Competencies:
    • Basic working proficiency in English (reading and written communication).
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint, for reporting and data tracking purposes.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify practical issues and potential risks during operational processes.
    • Good communication and coordination skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
    • Ability to manage repetitive operational tasks while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
