MoMo is Vietnam’s leader in mobile payments, where AI plays a crucial role in shaping our products and services. We are expanding our AI team and looking for a skilled Prompt Engineer to optimize and enhance our AI tools and systems. As a Prompt Engineer, you will build, optimize, and document prompt strategies and work with vector databases, ensuring that our internal AI tools are highly efficient. Additionally, you will provide training and support to other employees, empowering them to effectively utilize our AI tools and write optimized prompts.

What you will do

• Develop, refine, and optimize prompts to enhance the performance of internal AI tools;
• Work with vector databases to ensure efficient retrieval and optimization of AI-generated content;
• Create detailed documentation and guidelines for prompt writing, enabling internal teams to better utilize AI systems;
• Provide training and support to employees across the company, teaching them how to write effective prompts and use internal AI tools;
• Collaborate closely with AI developers, data scientists, and product teams to continuously improve AI tool performance and usability;
• Experiment with different prompt strategies, testing and iterating to achieve the best outcomes for various use cases.

What you will need

• 2+ years of experience working with AI/ML systems, particularly in prompt engineering, NLP, or similar fields;
• Experience with vector databases and optimizing data retrieval systems;
• Strong understanding of how prompts affect model performance;
• Excellent English, especially writing skills;
  
• Ability to write clear, concise documentation and guidelines;
• Strong communication skills with the ability to train and support employees in different departments;
• Proficiency in Python or other scripting languages commonly used in AI/ML environments is a plus.
