Join our UI/UX design team (Product Department) and play a crucial role in crafting the visual identity of MoMo, our mobile app. This position will be responsible for shaping the app’s Visual Language, requiring a strong foundation in graphic design principles and experience in establishing Visual Languages for mobile applications. Knowledge of UI/UX design and a passion for creating impactful and engaging visual experiences for mobile apps will be highly valued.
What you will do
- Define and develop the Visual Language for MoMo at a foundational level, encompassing design principles and styles, color palettes, layouts, icon sets, typography, illustration systems, micro-interactions, and other design elements;
- Directly design illustrations for various content displayed within the MoMo app. Tasks will originate from Product Owner briefs, UI/UX Designer support requests, and Lead directives. Some tasks may involve additional animation design;
- Collaborate closely with the product development team (POs, developers) to integrate the Visual Language into the application;
- Contribute to crafting the interface for a wide range of features and services, including bill payments, telecommunications, financial services, insurance, entertainment, travel, e-commerce, and more.
- Monitor and update the Visual Language as needed;
- Participate in other design projects undertaken by the company.
What you will need
- Knowledge & Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of graphic design experience, with a focus on product illustration;
- Proven track record of directly shaping, building, or contributing to Visual Languages or design systems for mobile projects/applications;
- Thorough understanding and application of visual principles and graphic design methodologies;
- Basic knowledge of UI/UX design principles;
- Experience in branding and marketing is a plus.
- Skills:
- Exceptional creativity and unique design thinking;
- Proficiency in design software such as Figma, Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effect, and others;
- Excellent ability to convey ideas through sketches or using a Wacom tablet.
