The Senior Software Engineer at Source Of Funds (SOF) is a role designed for those who view software engineering through the lens of computer science excellence and system optimization.
In this position, you will collaborate with a team of specialists to solve complex problems across fin-tech. We operate with an AI-First philosophy, where modern generative and agentic AI tools are integrated into our core development. We expect you to leverage these technologies to automate the mundane, allowing you to focus on high-level system design, algorithmic efficiency, and the implementation of state-of-the-art solutions for our core financial architecture.

- Architectural optimization: Design and refine high-throughput, low-latency distributed systems, focusing on resource efficiency and Data Consistency across heterogeneous environments.
- Core systems: Utilize a "first principles" academic approach and deep technical foundations to develop and optimize high-concurrency systems for Source Of Funds, Financial Hub, and Credit Scoring.
- Algorithmic Implementation: Research and implement advances to optimize fund routing, transaction flows, and credit evaluation logic.
- AI-Augmented Development: Proactively utilize AI-assisted engineering workflows to accelerate the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) - from rapid prototyping to automated performance tuning and rigorous testing.
- Technical Stewardship: Lead system design reviews with a "First Principles" approach, ensuring code quality meets the high standards.

- Technical proficiency: 5+ years of experience in Backend Engineering. Deep understanding of Microservices, Distributed Transactions, and Cloud-native infrastructure.
- Academic foundation: Strong background in Data Structures, Algorithms, and Operating Systems.
- AI mastery: Advanced skills in prompt engineering and the ability to maintain persistent project context for AI agents to maximize development velocity and technical self-growth.
