About the Role
As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer, you will own the architecture and operation of production ML systems used at MoMo scale. You will connect research and modeling work with dependable software, data, and platform foundations.
You will lead complex delivery, make key technical decisions, and mentor engineers while keeping model quality, reliability, speed, and cost in balance.

Mô tả công việc
- Work with Data Scientists to build Machine Learning systems using your engineering experience. As an example, suppose that we want to build a fraud detection system, you will take care of building the services necessary for retrieving user history, transforming data, applying machine learning models and connecting to other services for appropriate actions.In some situations, you can build the whole Machine Learning application from end to end;
- Design and build data pipelines that serve Machine Learning models;
- Provide a platform that is super easy for Data Scientists to explore new features, build models and conduct A/B tests;
- Build framework for monitoring Machine Learning systems.
Yêu cầu công việc
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field;
- 3+ years of industry experience in software engineering/machine learning;
- Strong Python skills and hands-on experience with tabular processing libraries (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-Learn, PySpark/Polars) and GBDT frameworks (XGBoost, LightGBM, CatBoost);
- In-depth understanding of the complete modeling lifecycle: data gathering, feature engineering, hyperparameter tuning, model serving, and post-deployment monitoring;
- Proficiency in PyTorch or TensorFlow for building custom neural architectures and tabular deep learning models;
- Ability to read, reproduce, and extend recent research papers;
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
