As a Senior – Business Development, you will be a key player in expanding market presence and ensuring smooth execution of commercial operations. This role demands a balance between strategic thinking and hands-on execution, especially in the dynamic landscape of the travel and airline industry. You will lead partner growth initiatives, explore new market opportunities, and drive cross-functional alignment across teams to deliver impactful results.

1. Strategic Partnerships & Growth

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with airline, OTA, and travel service partners (both domestic and international).
  • Identify and lead the execution of new partnership opportunities and product launches.
  • Negotiate commercial terms, finalize contracts, and manage partner performance.

 

2. Market Research & Business Intelligence

  • Analyze market trends, customer behaviors, and competitor activities to shape business strategy.
  • Collaborate with CI/MBI teams to turn insights into actionable plans for pricing, product positioning, and customer acquisition.
  • Explore both B2B and B2C opportunities across domestic and international air travel markets.

 

3. Sales & Channel Enablement

  • Support the creation and implementation of multi-channel sales strategies, including direct and agency sales.
  • Align with Marketing to launch promotions, seasonal campaigns, and customer retention programs.
  • Monitor KPIs such as transaction volume, ARPU, and partner performance to optimize commercial outcomes.

 

4. Pricing & Commercial Strategy

  • Support the design and execution of dynamic pricing policies aligned with market conditions and business objectives.
  • Conduct pricing analysis to ensure competitiveness and profitability across segments.
  • Work with suppliers and internal teams to update inventory and pricing structures as needed.

 

5. Operational Execution & Internal Collaboration

  • Liaise with cross-functional teams including Product, Tech, Customer Support, and Marketing to ensure smooth implementation of business initiatives.
  • Take part in real-time problem solving and operational alignment for day-to-day business issues.
  • Coordinate onboarding and integration of new products, services, and merchant partners.

Key Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in business development, with proven exposure to the airline, tourism industry (domestic and international).
  • Hands-on experience with market development and operational execution.
  • Solid understanding of travel technology (travel tech) platforms, OTA systems, or airline GDS/API integration is a plus.
  • Strong negotiation, stakeholder management, and project coordination skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and manage complex deliverables.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to use data for decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills;
